This product was good for a few months, then it began to fade and emit a strange smell to the water. He killed my crabs after 6 months. Not knowing what the problem was I replaced the crabs with 2 Glofish which died within a week! I tried to isolate the problem and ran an empty fresh water tank for a week and the smell in the water got worse again. While cleaning the tank, I noticed that even after washing with tap water, this item became sticky and had a strong odor. I am now convinced that this is a source of water pollution and a killer of my crayfish and glofish.
