This blanket is adorable! I read other reviews and questions before purchasing and as usual they were mixed. After completing this quilt I decided to leave a review and answer a few questions. First, it's a die-cut pattern. I worked on it for months when I had the time. The pattern was never deleted. Second, because it's stamped, it's ideal for a beginner. I also counted cross stitch so I know I'm telling the truth! I tried to hide the seams but it turned out to be too difficult. But it's normal. I added a back cover that hides everything. There's a lot of thread in there, and if you mess up, go to a craft store and buy more for $0.25. Reviews of how to wash the duvet after washing and whether the colors bleed onto the duvet were mixed. I used the hand wash setting, although delicate items should work fine in cold water. No problems at all! Finally, if you want to make a baby blanket to remember, this is it! I can't wait to give it to my granddaughter for Christmas! By the way, I've never used a sewing machine, but I think I did pretty well.
