I have an old Logitech Harmony 520 remote that I bought about 5 years ago. Recently the button to change "devices" has become unresponsive, and for it to work I had to press very hard several times at different angles for it to register. I tried cleaning the contacts but that didn't help at all and I was pretty determined to pick up another Logitech remote. However, this seemed like a waste of time and I came across a website that mentioned using CaiKote 44. Using the included swab, I applied a few dabs to each of the pins on the button membrane and spread themβnot too thick and not too thin. I placed the key membrane next to the gaming PC to use the heat from it to dry and left it for about 24 hours. After assembling the remote, the button in question now works like new. It's been a few months now and it's working perfectly. The CaiKote 44 saved me about $100 because I didn't have to buy another Logitech remote with the features I needed. For $12 it's definitely worth a try if you're frustrated with your remote and are considering throwing it out or buying a new one. *Edit* Just wanted to say it's been almost a year and the remote still works fine.
