I bought this backpack hoping it would help me bring my pup into the world to interact with. After getting it and trying it, I came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn't work. The pup weighs around 8 pounds and is already too big to fit comfortably in a bag. Also the problem is that the pup finds the bag new and interesting, she tries to chew on it and if I took her outside to socialize in it she would probably focus on the bag and not what I want to show her walking . Vicinity. Another issue we had was that the bag wasn't big enough to fit in. Aside from not fitting me and my pup, this bag seems to be quite well made. My only complaint about it is that the top handle doesn't feel heavy enough to carry the bag around with a pet in it. The bag itself has some sort of frame so even an empty bag will weigh more than you might expect. Of course I will train to carry my growing pup for socialization.
