Completed all the necessary calibration steps and it appeared to be ready to use. After getting some strange readings regarding my hydroponic tank, I decided to compare it to some known values. Distilled water should have a pH of just under 7. This meter reads 9.1. I then tested it with white vinegar, which should be around 2.5. My levels were 1.3. I returned the item and am planning to go back to using paper test strips or liquid tests and save a few bucks with peace of mind.
