Review on ☕ Black Reusable Filter Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe - Amazon Basics 5-Cup (25 Oz) by Melissa Marie

This was a rush purchase for me as my Mr. Coffee stopped working after a year. And in order not to fall into cramps, I ordered this coffee maker without really looking into the details, despite reading generally positive reviews. I've only had it for three days, but I've used it several times and noticed four things: 1) this baby is SMALL. my fault for not paying attention to the details but not realizing that this would look like an addition to a miniature dollhouse (the previous coffee maker had 10 cups so keep that in mind) 2) you need to make sure you aligning the coffee holder/filter needs to fit properly prior to brewing to avoid what happened to us when coffee was brewed all over the counter and floor - there is no discernible difference in placement so you might think it is is aligned if it isn't 3) It includes a filter You don't need to buy paper filters but it's not attached securely so don't take out the whole holder and throw it in the trash because the filter is in the trash too lands, and 4) it works - yes, the suction cup actually brews coffee, just like my $60 junk that broke after a year. I don't have high hopes that this will last a year, but for $14.99 I can live with it. CONS: see above but the most important thing for me is the size as it is small. I only drink cold coffee, so I'm used to a larger coffee maker, at least 10 cups. that I keep in the fridge. I also have a Keurig that brews one cup at a time and like Keurig I have to brew multiple times with this kid. But again €14.99! I wanted to return but this price keeps flashing in front of my eyes so I'll leave it to myself.
