The tape is pleasant to the touch but all the plus points are lost for me as I had to half tape the tape on one side and seal it with electrical tape. I've seen previous reviews mention that the tape comes loose when the adhesive is exposed, but I foolishly thought that wasn't possible. Somewhere there must be stock that has been exposed to very high temperatures and has gone bad. Removing the lid ripped off bits of tape from the start, so I proceeded slowly and carefully, but to no avail. As you can see from my photos, a fair bit of tape came loose when I removed it. I was about to change the cassette so it was too late to pack it up and send it back. As a result, I now have brand new bar tape with a piece of tape running right down the middle. Dissatisfied.
