Bought for a bike for trips on the trunk. I had a bit of a hard time understanding that there are two inseparable layers and that I really had to tug on the laces to start shaping the seat and then fully tighten it once it's in the seat to make sure they are well plugged in. and deep under and around the seat. I have traveled my bike on a trunk from southern Maryland to Boston through severe storms both ways and the seat stayed dry. I also use it when traveling at dusk when the air gets a bit heavy. It protects against evening wetness. As a safety measure, I added a ball bungee for the trip to Boston. I think maybe it was unnecessary because I made sure the lid was really, really tight, but I have no regrets. I like that there is a storage bag. Can't recommend enough.
