I bought two of these for each of my dogs. These are very nice in design, but the bottom is not sturdy, definitely does not hold any dog >25 lbs, esp if they are hyperactive and like to pounce a lot. The bottoms of these crates are not strong enough to hold with only the small screws provided. I ended up having to remove the bottoms and just let the dogs rest on the floor (not cool for bladder and bowel accidents). One of the locking latches broke off from the gate; I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, my guess is my dog was persistent. Anyway, the top is sturdy to hold dog supplies and dog food, etc. If the bottom had the same reinforcement as the top, I think it would be better. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Otherwise, it is a nice crate.
