Review on 🔩 Simpson Structural Screws SD10112R100 – High-performance Structural Connector by Carlos Phillips

Purchased to solve the connection point issues of some structural steel beams with pressure treated window sills at my shop. The building authority requires hot-dip galvanizing for all PT connections. Truss Maker is supplied galvanized. It doesn't seem like anyone makes hot drop screws that I could find. The only option seems to be stainless steel. These found and the coating applied to these bolts is IBC compliant for use by PT. I contacted the building department and they approved it and said to keep the box so we can confirm. When the examiner came, he checked the box and then "stamped" the bolts in a few places to confirm I used the correct bolts. Signed!
