My Minicooper R56 is from 2007 and being older it's just a little extra insurance against particles in the oil. Therefore 14mm was listed as the correct size for a naturally aspirated 1.6 DOHC engine. And I just ordered it on that basis, wishing all the details were on hand. Well, the 2007 1.6 DOHC uses 16mm. Well, blame BMW for complicating simple details and blame yourself for not doing my usual triple check before ordering. (And I prefer a machine screw to a hex.)
