UPDATE: broken after a month. The plug fits, the sensor is plugged in without any problems. However, fitting each jack in its place results in the cable being too short for my 2002 325xi. So I just used a bushing that was just long enough for a full turn of the handlebars. Shortly thereafter, the light on the dashboard went out, a reset of the computer is not necessary. If you are okay with a little carelessness it will get the job done cheaper. I will update in a few months or if/if the sensor fails.
