Review on Alphabetical Order Cross Stitch Pattern by Tara Ford

A very good reference book for stickers!

Today I found this book in a thrift store and I am very happy about it. At first glance I thought this book was only for cross stitch, but as soon as I got it home I saw that most of the letters were cross stitch patterns, but there are also ordinary letters for embroidery. If necessary, counted cross-stitch patterns and regular embroidery can be embroidered from scraps of fabric. The book includes designs for different letter styles as well as some seasonal designs. Letters vary in size from 2 strands tall to about 25 strands tall. There are also several sets of numbers of different sizes, starting with two threads, to sign your work or use as a date in the sampler. I'm sure that once I've completed my projects, I'll refer back to this book to learn how to sign my initials and the year. It would be nice to have a few options so you don't have to figure out how to do a G and an R in your head. There are some drawings on the front page that are included and there are two colored pages in the middle of the book. more designs, and yet not all designs are shown, at least as far as I can tell. I'd like to see some more color illustrations and maybe titles for different alphabets, but that doesn't take away from the usefulness of the book.
