These antennas look more massive and serious than the original antennas on my Asus RT-AC66U router, but they all show up and don't work. I didn't measure any signal strength gains with these supposed 8dBi antennas, only the nominal throughput difference (at least 0.11Mbps difference in download speeds compared to standard Asus antennas). These non-original antennas gave a slightly lower result in terms of upload speed, the difference is 0.02 Mbit/s. The only advantage of these antennas is that they can be used with antenna extensions such as the 16.5ft RP-SMA - Bulkhead mount RP-SMA RG174 connectors from Bingfu can be used. The antennas can be placed up to 16.5 feet from the router to increase signal strength by getting closer to the Wi-Fi transmitter. This is useful when you are within range of a wireless access point and are using the router as a WiFi repeater. Unfortunately, that's the only thing these advertised antennas are good for.
