We needed two more cages to urgently rescue some birds from a dire situation and it was the perfect combination of decent space without being overly bulky. Possible future expansion by adding another pair at the top is great for accommodating birds in higher densities. My birds usually roam during the day, but these cages are actually quite roomy, especially if you have birds that don't roam vertically. My lifeguard Quaker and canary are digging their new home, and I remove the foundation wall so they can stick together, which sometimes saves them some worries. but it's nice to be able to separate them every now and then when they fight a little. The build quality is excellent and almost ALL my cells are the same brand because I know they will be good. There are remarkably similar cages sold under other names and I have seen them personally - sometimes they are the same cages with a stained finish other than the burnt finish like this one and some of them are obviously just copies that are so inferior are in quality. It's hard to tell from the pictures on the web, so I'll just stick with a brand that always delivers. I have four Prevue cages - and one that I thought was Prevue but unnamed and $30 cheaper. This one is similar to the Prevue but has issues that are NOT worth saving $30 on. - Don't bite your toes. The friendly do a great job with a wire divider. I've also added a removable opaque acrylic divider, so if I put two people in there who are annoying each other - they can't see each other - it will reduce the chatter and yelling. I'm definitely a fan of the Prevue. I'm taking another pair to layer on top so I can fit four in my home office so they can hang out with me while I work. My only suggestion is a solid separator as an option.
