Mild Steel with Rounded Corners

I used two different sizes for two different applications. On both sizes, when trying to loosen the bolts with only moderate torque, the hex corners on the ends became rounded and the tools could not be used. I know I had the right size tool in every case because I used an old regular hex wrench (short with no handle) and it worked fine. This set is an absolute disappointment and a waste of money. Keys must be plain carbon steel, not alloyed or heat treated.
