This is a plastic chain, very light but very easy to cut and hang. The S hooks and carabiners are a nice addition to the kit and made it easier for me to hang the chain when needed - an S hook on the 'more permanent' side and a carabiner on the side which I will remove and replace. Daily. I will be using it for the whole month of December and I see no reason why it should be enough not just for this year but for many years to come.
