Smooth ride, but yes, this collet is HEAVY!
I haven't measured the run out yet but today I tested it with a 2 inch hard face drill and it went very smoothly. It was still difficult to remove the racquet after use; It took a small screwdriver to pry apart the split sections (in the middle, NOT in the cones) and pliers to remove the cone from the bit shank. star deduction.
