This is a much more professional gauge than I'm used to. And I just turned 65, so I've used a few. The extended 5 inch hose is a bit overkill for ME. I see that in my double RV, for example, when I check the air, especially on the inner twin wheels. The gauge seems fairly accurate, but it's not perfect. I set all the tires to EXACTLY the same pressure on the gauge or as accurate as I can and they still seem about 1+# or more apart. Not really a big deal as long as they're within a pound or so of the rest. I would recommend this gauge to my friends and family. However, you may not need a 5ft extension hose! Or they just might! Take your pick, but both the standard and this 5-inch model are built to last. Almost forever!
