Performance depends heavily on load type, NEVER 600W

UPDATE: I ran similar tests on B07SLPWBK3 and it was worse. except for a quieter and lower quiescent current. The fan accelerates to over 200W or after a long time and is quite noisy. But without a fan, it's one of the quietest I've ever used. The standby current is about 0.6A (7W), and although the "wasted" power increases with load, the dissipation percentage remains fairly constant: 65W output requires 80W input, 140 output = 160 input, 220 Output = 260 input, 250 watts output = 300 watts input. That's right, as you approach full power, you're using more than 4A (50W) from your battery to power the inverter on top of the power going to your load. Another reviewer was impressed with 82% efficiency, I measured 83% at full load. When unplugged, a parasitic load (7 watts with NOTHING plugged in) can cost you a full day. transformer) and a Milwaukee drill (jet engine) for loads. Guess what? This will not start the exercise. Unroll it hard and Bestek will turn off until you turn it off. My wattmeter shows no power peaks over 400 watts. A combination of 400W lightbulbs and soldering guns seems to last forever without switching off. However, try a 500W combination of the same elements and it doesn't even last a tenth of a second. Immediately cuts off power delivery. But it doesn't turn off (requires a power cycle to fully turn off) unless you turn off that 500-watt load for a few seconds. Remember that the load is on, but Bestek is turning off the power. For example, connect 200 watts of light. No problem. Add 300 watt soldering guns for a second and the light goes out for that second. but come back Holding the pistol trigger for too long will illuminate the red death light (requires a reboot). Here's why I'm sending it back: I stopped my Milwaukee drill bit and slowly released the variable speed trigger to increase torque. Plugged into the wall, I get 500 watts without losing my footing, at about half the power. However when connected to Bestek the power never exceeded 40W with the same trigger setting and when I increased the power to 3/4 Bestek cut out. Never put more than 60 watts on a stalled motor and this motor produced almost no torque. Sigh. My 3 star rating is generous because it's quiet and has good connections for 12V. Throw away the supplied cables (all). Too small for 30A! And don't use it on any type of engine.
