Description of 🔌 BESTEK 300W Pure Sine Wave Inverter: DC 12V to AC 110V Car Power Converter with Dual USB Ports, 2 AC Outlets, ETL Listed

BESTEK 300W pure sine wave car inverter:Its output waveform is same as the AC power waveform of mains power grid which delivers a smoothly-varying sine wave for sensitive electronics provided by the electric utility.Perfects for off-grid system,Lower THD,Less wear,Strong inductive loads capability. It has little interference with radios, communication and precision equipment. It's also recommended by most cordless tool manufacturer that a pure sine wave inverter is used to ensure long battery life. This is an inverter converting DC from your car battery to AC for whatever you want to use within its Watt range. It can pull power from the battery through the cigarette lighter plug or directly clamp the alligator battery clips onto the car battery.Plug this into 12v cigarette lighter outlet provides continuous DC to AC power with 2 AC outlets operates any 110v device and 2 USB ports which detects your device automatically to deliver its fastest charge speed up to 2.4 amps per port/4.2 amps max. The sine wave inverter has well placed thermal protection sensors,The aluminum alloy casing with a few ripples,Unique vents and also a built-in FAN which comes ON under NO any loads or when the Inverter becomes Hot Once Powerred. It has 2 x 40 amp/32V external replaceable fuse for protection when hooked up to your battery, readily accessible/replaceable from the back of the Inverter;when hooked to cigarette lighter it will use 15 amp fuse designated to your car. Isolated voltage protects perfectly for your device from Over-voltage,Under-voltage,Overheat,Overload,Reverse Polarity,Short circuit.it will not drain your battery dry because of an under-voltage protection point. The Inverter does automatically sense overload condition and shuts down AC power when the load exceeds 300W.You will need to power Off/On to reset the overload condition indicated by the Flashing Red.The ON-OFF switch only works for the 3-prong plugs. The 12V plug is spring-loaded and fits snugly into the receptacle. You cannot get 300 watts from 12volt cigarette lighter plug, needs alligator clips for car battery. If you're going to be plugging this into car cigarette lighter, you should keep the wattage under 150,since that is what most car fuses are set for. What you get:1xBESTEK 300W Pure Sine Inverter,1xUser Manual,2xbattery clamps cable,1x 12V cigarette Lighter plug cable,2 x spare fuses.

Works but is noisy and wastes energy

4 starts easy because it's a real signal wave at a great price. However, the fan is noisy, turning on even at just 20W or so. In addition, it only costs about 10 watts when idling with no load.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

ATTENTION! Do not connect if USB is misaligned

What I received has USB connectors that are not aligned with the case. When I opened it up I found the circuit board was bent. This creates a potentially LETHAL voltage right next to the metal case. (In addition to the fact that if the circuit board breaks, it may soon fail.) A small deflection of the case (for example, if you accidentally step on it) and you are in contact with 120V.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I will add later

Efficient, quiet, delivers >300W

82% efficiency with 55W incandescent load, temperature controlled fan, silent output and 8.6W with no battery load, 0.65A at 12.6V. Nice little inverter , ran a 350w mini skillet at 317w for a few minutes, the fan got louder after a while but the grill was certainly cooking eggs, it ran for 5 minutes while the grill thermostat wouldn't cut off and kept it hot enough.

Pros
  • Free for educational institutions
Cons
  • Not bad

Not as described for jumpers, chargers and portable power supplies

The fan turns on as soon as you turn on the inverter. Device with NULL elements connected to it in 50°F weather. I know it's similar to most other inverters, but that was one of the main reasons I chose this model over many of the other better, smaller, and cheaper models I've tested. Hit one. I have not heard any questions from customer service about their products. Second Strike. Overall, the design looks very poor. I'm afraid of breaking it every time I pick it up. Hit THREE!

  • Rugged finish

  • Protection

Good buy for pure sine wave performance

- Produces 'cleaner' AC power than the modified sine wave version for just a little more money. -The on/off switch is on the front, convenient function. Perfect inverter so far! I have both the standard and pure sine wave versions and have hardwired them to my truck for use when camping and road trips. I don't have an oscilloscope, so I hooked up a few devices, including one of my wife's hair straighteners, for the base load test. The modified Sinus version causes the hair straightener to make…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in black only

Great inverter!

I am very impressed with this inverter and its design. Here are some of my observations: The fuse holder and 5-15R sockets have circuit boards on the back of the terminals to connect them to the wire instead of soldering the wires directly to the terminals, a very nice touch! Ground is connected to battery and chassis negative, but neutral is not connected to ground (more on that later). On the board they use silicone to fix the LC filter on the board so it doesn't rattle. The FETs and diodes…

Performance depends heavily on load type, NEVER 600W

UPDATE: I ran similar tests on B07SLPWBK3 and it was worse. except for a quieter and lower quiescent current. The fan accelerates to over 200W or after a long time and is quite noisy. But without a fan, it's one of the quietest I've ever used. The standby current is about 0.6A (7W), and although the "wasted" power increases with load, the dissipation percentage remains fairly constant: 65W output requires 80W input, 140 output = 160 input, 220 Output = 260 input, 250 watts output = 300 watts…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Good but not great

300 watt pure sine wave inverter does the job and does it well

their models looks the same on the outside of the chassis or frame but NOT pure sine wave) are very beneficial and perform as advertised. You may be wondering why is it so specific to the Pure Sine Wave model? Well, if you're using an inverter to power sensitive electronics such as computers, tablets, personal medical devices, communications equipment, etc., you need to provide a pure sine wave power supply. If you do NOT do this, you risk: (a) equipment not working at all, (b) destroying…
