07 Tundra Factory Refurbished JBL

I bought my Hizpo from another store but would like to highlight something that may save others from disappointment. It required a small modification of the wiring to power a factory JBL amp in my 2007 Tundra. For an Android radio, you need to connect the blue "AUTO ANT" (on the power harness) to the blue "AMP CONT" (on the RCA harness). The instructions included do not say anything about this, but it is pointed out in the description above. If it weren't for this Revain list, I probably never would have guessed it. The radio is quite pleasant, with a clean, modern look, but I wish the screen was a bit brighter in daylight. If you look at the screen from the driver or passenger seat in the sun, it kind of washes out. In the attached photo, the screen is at full brightness. Night vision is great even at the lowest brightness, maybe a little too bright at the lowest setting. It automatically adjusts the day/night mode of the screen and the backlight of the side touch button triggered by the car's headlight switch. When turned off, the device goes into a low-power mode, so booting up is almost instantaneous. Sound quality is subjective but I find it a little sharper than standard but a little quieter. Bluetooth music streaming is even quieter than FM radio but still very convenient. Touch sensitivity is pretty good most of the time, but sometimes it takes two or three tries. include harnesses. I use both front and harness connection and everything works fine. My daughter charges her iPhone 6 via the USB port and we use the front USB stick as a flash drive. Please note that when we use an external charger and connect your iPhone to the auxiliary port, it will generate static electricity. So she discovered that the radio's USB port could charge her iPhone and eliminate static. I wouldn't expect fast charging or even 2A charging, but that's the option that seems to work for now. Haven't tried calling or connecting a backup camera yet, so can't comment on that yet. Hope someone finds this information useful!
