Perfect Butt Great idea, good tool, very well made. I've used it (so far) to attach shelves to a wall that must have been built by a crack handyman. The scribes were perfect and the shelves look great. The only thing I would change about this marker is to add smaller (much smaller) "wheels" for marking very close to the wall (for reasonably straight walls). The instructions say this can be done by reversing the scriber, but the bottom is quite a large diameter so I'm not sure if this can be done without removing the locking rings and disassembling. I like this tool and will use it again, but I will use a different technique to paint closer to the wall.
