well the part worked but only after using the original window holder (I had to replace the old window holder with a new one) because when I tried to press the window the holder didn't fit and the whole mechanism fell apart. I had to take the whole thing apart again and rewind the cable system onto the spindle and replace the old plastic window holder which had better guidance and easier insertion of the window into the holder. The actual piece of plastic that everything is built on is cheap and fragile. One of the door panel hooks didn't fit snugly so when pushed into the replacement part the latch where the hook was supposed to go broke off easily. (Like I said, cheaply made plastic that's brittle.) Fortunately, I've been able to reverse engineer things and reuse old parts to make them work.
