Exactly what I needed - rare size
One of the sprocket bolt holes on my Shimano XT M8000 crank was cleaned. It's the right size to fix. It took me 20 minutes to drill the hole, tap out the rails and insert the spool. After it was fully inserted I had to cut about 2 threads to shorten it a bit and then rethread the upper thread into the new thread.
- Used to repair damaged or worn threads, can also be used to make new stronger threads in OE.
