The first device I ordered was defective. As soon as I received the replacement I got a standard connection but no power. I called support, at first they didn't help but they gave me some phone numbers to call. The first made it. Thomas was very helpful. It turned out that both the yellow and red wires needed to be connected to the power wire. I turned the device on and the viola worked perfectly. Once I figured out the speaker wire rat's nest, everything worked.
