Review on Extech RE300 ExStik ORP Meter by Brandon Vox

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A must if you want to know the total amount of oxidizers

We use portable testers to check the calibration results of production equipment. I have a full set of these Extech sticks and they work fine. Calibration is usually performed against a standard. Provides a quick and convenient way to randomly check ORP in different locations. Very durable. The instructions are translated from Chinese, but it's quite easy to use. I recommend this rod series. Please note I have many Extech rods for various measurements, I'm in industrial water supply, I've bought 20 or more of these, as well as other brands. This particular stick is the first to fail. I didn't check it when I received it, the sensor is hand held on the nut, it wasn't tight, mine was bad, it got wet inside and $100 was gone, I used it once, liked it but The children in the congregation either did not feed that day or worked 20 straight hours. Hey, you probably don't want to believe it, but I've been to China a lot, that's it. Therefore, check the assembly before use in case the nut is not properly tightened. They don't like water inside.

Pros
  • Data storage, automatic shutdown and low battery indicator
