These are strong clasps that won't open even if you want them

At first glance they looked solid and well made. Thicker than others I've bought. Unfortunately they are not suitable. They don't open. I'm not sure if they were mishandled or if the spring is wrong, but I couldn't get any of them to open. Too bad they looked like they were great, but pointless if you can't use them.
