I always underestimate items because the pictures are bigger or enhanced in some way. These brushes look about 7 inches long, but they are closer to 4"-4.5". The colors are fun and vibrant, which I personally like, but the key feature is that while it's very nice to have a range of brushes from very thin to plump, the brushes are made of nylon or plastic wrapped around twisted metal are wrapped. Two of the narrower ones - Pink and Aqua - bent on first use, causing the brush to fold in half and immediately become less effective.
