I recently bought this electric bottle opener for my 91 year old mother-in-law who has arthritis and generally weak hands. She complained for a while that she couldn't open jars and bottles with screw tops, so we decided to try this product to see if it would help her. And so it was. She can easily open things she wants to open with an opener, and apart from a juice bottle with a plastic cap that was too small to grab with the opener, it worked beautifully: it could open pasta cans. Sauce, pickles and some others. This item requires two AA batteries which are not included but otherwise require no assembly or setup; As soon as the batteries were put in, it worked straight away.
