I glued this 3 inch strip to the top of the tailgate between the handle and the tailgate, perfect width, just had to trim the ends to make it 58 inches long. EASY INSTALLATION: Fill a spray bottle with water and 3-4 drops of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid and wipe up and down to remove the solution. There were a few small blisters which disappeared after about a week. It's almost imperceptible. I later cleaned the truck and rubbed the tape down with a microfiber cloth and there are long scratches that I can't remove. I even tried polishing it. 1 star deducted for that. I think I'll remove it and replace it with Xpel self-healing tape at about the same price but 6 inches wide (2 for the price of 1 after cutting in half). Hope it's just as easy.
