He wins because there is no one else like him.

Good. I'll save you some time here: what all the other reviews say is true. Let's start with the good: It's really, really strong. My 100+ pound shepherd is pacing up and down without the slightest bow. Considering it's surprisingly easy. We need the smallest folding ramp in length and thickness, but at the same time long enough to climb up. This is what he excels at. And now it's not so good. You will feel as if you could lose a finger or a leg at any time. Stupid plastic seat belt. I give him a month maximum. I was never quite sure it would hold up from the start, not to mention it's not that easy to roll up the ramp and close. I'll get to the big problem with the ramp in a moment. First there are a few complaints. The ramp bet, as other reviewers have pointed out, is a bit like Russian roulette. My dog is quite obedient, but he's a dog and dogs don't always stay put. Squirrel. Do I have to say more? So I have a good ramp in one hand and a dog in the other. While I've gotten a little better, watching me try to unfold this thing with one hand while holding my dog will probably be a lot of fun and good time plugging your kids' ears. It's an act of force majeure to push the ramp as far as possible while positioning it so it doesn't slip and ruin that gorgeous red paintwork you overpaid for. The ramp does not lock when you extend it. It depends on the weight to fix it. i think it works It hasn't collapsed yet. However, it would be much easier if the sections lock when fully extended to allow you to position the ramp more easily. There is no safety belt on the ramp to prevent slipping off the bumper or to the side, especially on slippery surfaces. I went to the hardware store and bought two high traction rubber stair pads, one for my bumper to hold the paint and protect it, and one for the floor to keep the underside of the ramp secure when the floor is wet. I'm sure you get the picture. But there's one thing that absolutely absolutely REALLY SUCKS is that sandpaper handle they attached to the ramp. Honestly, you stand a chance with this ramp. If your dog has had a bad experience with him, good luck bringing him back to him. This grip paper is sharp and I knew better than to even try. As another reviewer suggested, I used a non-slip vinyl sheet for the shelf. It's porous, like a very thin yoga mat. The dog did not object and paced up and down twice. The second time his nails dug in and ripped the dull material to pieces. So good. I accept. What I don't accept is that not only is the matte material torn, but the sandpaper is stuck underneath. It's terrible, and it's really flimsy. I ended up taking a heat gun, sandpapering the handle away and gluing on an industrial grade rubber grommet. It's soft enough that the dog doesn't mind and holds up well enough not to slip. The reviewer who suggested the non-slip backing used tape to pull the backing under the next section. Do yourself a favor and simply unscrew the rubber stoppers and lay out the sections evenly. Conclusion: I hate this. I love it. I'm afraid to use it, but the dog uses it. The side rails are high and that helps!. It's stronger than any ramp I've seen and folds less than any other I've seen. So this wins.
