Review on Enhance Your Ride with the Rancho RS999273 RS9000XL Series Shock by Steven Darkshnar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The oil seal blew at 8500 km.

I installed them on my 2010 F450 about 8500 miles ago. Together with RS9000XL front shock absorbers. Being able to change the damper settings comes in very handy when riding rough on the F450. I can turn them on when I'm pulling my pendant and turn them off when I'm empty. At the same time, one of the rear shocks knocked out the seal and spilled all the oil somewhere in that 8500 miles. I found this just before the 3000 mile trip I was planning to take and didn't have time to send the broken one to Ranch to check and send me a replacement. So I just went ahead and bought another one. For the most part they seem to be decent hits. Just want to say register them for the lifetime warranty and keep the receipt in case this happens to you.

Pros
  • 2.75 inch (70mm) case diameter (some applications) - Offers both performance and looks
Cons
