Perfect for shocks, struts and suspension

Arrived quickly, fits perfectly, love the fact that it is adjustable and would recommend this shock to anyone looking for new shocks at an affordable price.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • So so

F250 V10 CC 4x4 Super Single

These shock absorbers are essential, they are the only shock absorbers that can hold the wheels on the road at different loads. I have had other adjustable shocks and they are by far the best quality I have ever owned.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Something Else

Big improvement in ride and handling

This is an early report as I won't be tweaking the settings while I'm dealing with two feet of snow. However, the improvement in ride comfort is dramatic. The factory dampers on my F250 were also ranchos, but clearly a cheap OEM model. I kick myself for waiting 100,000 miles to replace them.

Pros
  • Usability
Cons
  • Useless features

I am not happy with the quality of Rancho shocks these days.

I've had suspension issues for over a year, after replacing almost the entire front end I finally removed these shocks and checked them out, both are soft and fail after just 18,000 miles , most of which were freeways and some easy country roads. I am not happy with the quality of Rancho shocks these days. Ride with the Bilsteins!

Pros
  • Liquid Metallic - Premium Durability Paint
Cons
  • I have my doubts

Helps tow fifth wheel

I put two Rancho 9000's in the back of my 2004 F250 diesel truck. I took my 35 foot saddle bike to Alaska and noticed the trailer bounced a lot. I installed new dampers for the ride back to the lower 48s. I started with the highest setting of 9. It definitely made a big difference. I ended up reducing them to 7, which I think was better and still stopped the excessive jump. I love shock absorbers and recommend them.

Pros
  • Nitrogen gas - improves hitting power
Cons
  • Bad impression

The oil seal blew at 8500 km.

I installed them on my 2010 F450 about 8500 miles ago. Together with RS9000XL front shock absorbers. Being able to change the damper settings comes in very handy when riding rough on the F450. I can turn them on when I'm pulling my pendant and turn them off when I'm empty. At the same time, one of the rear shocks knocked out the seal and spilled all the oil somewhere in that 8500 miles. I found this just before the 3000 mile trip I was planning to take and didn't have time to send the broken…

Pros
  • 2.75 inch (70mm) case diameter (some applications) - Offers both performance and looks
Cons
  • There are issues
