What a great phone! Last year I stopped using noisy phones and turned to smaller companies that make "rugged phones." I come from an older bv9500 which I really liked. I call it a brick. This Oukitel WP7 is definitely a big upgrade. The battery life is amazing and not too long for such a large battery. I manage the audio and video equipment in our small church, I use my phone to follow the live broadcast. So I've been using it to watch live video for over 2 hours and it's had almost no impact on battery life. The camera takes such clear and detailed photos, the selfie camera is way better than I've ever had. Infrared light is useful for many purposes, one of which is navigating in the dark. I like how the charging port is closed and covered to keep it clean and free of debris. Expandable storage in the phone is also very important to me, I installed my micro SD card and was able to use it straight away without formatting the card. TMobile's prepaid SIM card works great. I like knowing that I can choose my carrier with an unlocked phone that is no longer tied to a carrier due to monthly calling charges. Upgrading to Android 10 manually wasn't an easy task, but with patience and practice, it's doable. I love that I can program quiet hours like church time and nighttime so the bell will turn off automatically so I don't get embarrassed and wake my kids up late at night. I found a protective glass on ebay, it came within a week. I'm sure the screen will be durable, but I work in a diesel engine shop and I want an extra layer of protection for my phone. I don't think I'll ever buy a regular phone again. They don't make the type of phone that fits my needs, Oukitel makes the exact type of phone that suits me. I'll try to add an unpacking video later.
