I bought this for my almost 10 year old. The sleeves are a little long, but this is easily remedied by rolling up the sleeves. I am sure that with such long sleeves, this shirt will suit all ages from 10-12 (middle age). Don't forget to check the size chart and don't size up as I usually find an average age range of 7-8 years. The fabric of this shirt is very light and does not show. The long sleeves are perfect for use in the sun to provide sun protection so we don't mind putting sunscreen on his arms but the light weight keeps him from overheating.
