pay 2 dollars extra get 8mm. The chain is very thin. it weighs about the same as my cable lock, only more. To be honest it looks like a $10 padlock. This lock makes me feel more secure than a cable, but not a landslide. I will keep and use it, but I will buy a thicker one. Besides that. bright side, the dial works. set the code perfectly. Edit: I said go for 8mm, but if it's easy to cut don't forget to go for 6mm as well. It's easier to drive. Your call.
