Before installing I cleaned the dashboard, picked the flattest spot I could find and glued this trim strip on top. At first everything seemed fine. Once I put a phone mount on it and put the phone in, it fell off within seconds. TO UPDATE! - Very quickly after I posted my review, the company contacted me and asked if I would like to try their product again, they were concerned that I hadn't installed it properly. I said sure so they immediately sent me another one for free with expedited shipping. Just got a new one today, haven't tried installing it yet but am happy with the customer service for the moment. I didn't contact them asking for a refund or anything, I just considered it a loss. but they just saw my review and contacted me. Other companies could learn from this. The main thing is that the customers are satisfied.
