Indoor use - add a diffuser

I have a dark condo that faces north, and I work from home and wanted it to be brighter. I set up four of these just above my main window, and it tremendously helps brighten up the place. CRI is important for indoor use so the colors stay natural, and this one has a CRI of 80+, which is the highest you are going to get for anything in this price range. If you want a 90+ CRI or 95+, you either have to daisy chain together multiple higher power light bulbs (like the 100w 5000k daylight bulb sold by FEIT, available here or at Costco) or use very expensive high powered photography LED panels, that run for $140 and up each. For indoor use, add a diffuser to make the light less harsh https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XDP5PSJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pros
  • EFFICIENT COOLING: The exterior floodlight is designed with a fin-type heat sink, which means it acts like a radiator to dissipate heat.
Cons
  • Potential for glare
