Review on πŸ’‘ RGEEK 24pin PSU 12V DC Input: Enhanced 150W Peak Output Switch | DC-DC ATX Pico PSU for Mini ITX PC Power by Los Bizness

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It worked during the night.

I'm on the fence. Everything looked fine on this new PC build. I used the original, reliable Xbox 10A to 12V power supply (that's enough since it's a low-power setup with no GPU card). After installing all drivers and updates turned off for the night. The next morning I turned on the device and there is no HDMI output on my PC. (Luckily I have a USB 3.0 powered portable display so I can connect it). I figured it must be something with the motherboard, so while troubleshooting I looked around and saw that the CPU fan had stopped spinning. Ouch! I could feel a lot of heat coming from the two metal resistors on that pico connector. Turned off, restarted, the fan works, there is still no HDMI signal, but after about 10 minutes the fan stops working. (This happened 2 more times). So off to the garage, got a 250W ATX power supply from a PC graveyard, swapped the Pico, and voila: The HDMI signal is back and the fan has been running stably for 2 hours. I'm thinking one of the lower voltage outputs on the pico must have been lost on this pico, causing an intermittent fan and no HDMI signal, but I can't prove it so I'm giving it a 3/5. I'll try another Pico because I still need an unobtrusive solution.
