This gate fully deserves five stars. It was easy to assemble. Just make sure you don't cut the zip tie that says 'do not cut'. If you do, you can still assemble it, but it will be more difficult. This is a snap closure, so when you apply pressure to the ends, the closure will come together and snap into place. Once you're at that point, you can sever that tie. I use it to keep dogs out of the kitchen. Easy to open and close for an adult. It has a double lock so it cannot be accidentally opened by a dog or a child. When I set this up I used silicone cups on the wall. It was too short with two smaller pieces and two wide pieces with one big piece. Silicone cups make up for this and everything is safe and secure. These gates are beautiful.
