What I love about this bike rack is that even though my car has a connection, I didn't have a hitch for this bike rack, but it was included. The hitch itself is powerful and easy to connect. As for the bike rack, I was able to put 3 bikes on it with no problem. It says it holds up to 4 but I only have 3 bikes to hold and was able to do this without damaging the bikes or the car. The straps on them are really strong and hold the bikes in place without moving them too much. Even on not-so-flat roads, bikes were still attached to the bike rack itself. The whole setup is sturdy and not cheap like my old one which rusted within a month. Despite the proximity to the beach, the stand shows no signs of rust or rot. Even the straps are tight.
