Review on Sceptre C355W 3440UN Super Curved Ultrawide 100Hz HD Monitor with Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free Technology - C355W-3440UN by Peter Follansbee

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's not a Samson, it's not a Dell, but for less than $400 it's not bad

I bought this monitor to replace the TV I was using on my flight simulator computer. The TV monitor was 37 inches, which is the closest I could find to anything reasonably priced. Production out of the box and on the stand took less than 15 minutes. As an old TV engineer, I ran it on a few test signals. The monitor looks good, there are no dead pixels. Was something out of color. And a little faded color. I usually don't adjust monitors until a few weeks have passed before they settle down. All inputs have been tested and audio output should work with most computer speakers. Both X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 looked great on it. And I managed to install it on a wall mount with just one trip to the hardware store. The only thing I'm not sure about is that this is the first and only electronic product I've purchased from Revain that I haven't received an extended warranty offer for once I've added it to my shopping cart. I will probably update this review in a year. And I should also add that Revane was very quick to let me know. I ordered it on a Tuesday evening and it was on my doorstep by 10am the next day.
