Review on EMPI Alternator Pulley 10Pcs 9197 0 by Bryan King

They arrived on time, in a small plastic bag. The packaging was fine, nothing was damaged. I bought these because although I still had some of the OEM shims, one of the previous owners of my car was kind enough to lose 5 and replace them with a large shim. For this reason I could not tension the alternator belt properly. So looking back: everything is fine. Functionally they work. However, there were only a few. bent? I don't think it happened upon delivery because about 50% of them were bent in different ways. Bent isn't quite the right word, maybe warped? Once I've put them on and rotated them, they've smoothed out and are fine, but they definitely shouldn't be like this. I guess you could look at it like a poor man's puck. Also, their inner diameter was absolutely accurate, to the point where I initially thought they didn't match. They just fit perfectly. Part of this may be due to some slight corrosion on my car (problems with the car are only 50 years old). Overall I would buy it again but I find it hard to justify 5 stars. I would give maybe 4.5 if that was an option.
