Irregular Drills in Embroidery
There are two related issues with this painting that keep it from being amazing. First the grid on the canvas - the black lines of the grid are thicker in some places and visible between the drills. Second, drills of a non-standard size. They don't fit together neatly like square drill bits do and this caused some of them to be crooked no matter how much I straightened them. The picture itself is very nice and the screen is easy to read, and from a distance these problems are not obvious. But it was not at all comfortable to work because of the irregular training.
