Holds my iPhone XMax

I bought this phone mount for my iPhone XMax. My phone has a thin case. My car is a Nissan Pathfinder and the bracket is mounted to the left of the steering wheel in a round air vent next to the driver's door. The iPhone XMax is heavier than the smaller phone and the air vent mount can be unstable. I am pleased to report that the Vicseed mount works great with the iPhone Xmax. After installing in the air vent and adjusting the width and angle of the mount, my iPhone stays securely in the mount. Due to the weight of the iPhone, make sure the mount is fully inserted into the vent. In my case I had to move the bracket to the left edge of the circular vent (not the center) to make it more secure. The good news is that the phone doesn't wobble and stays where I put it. The bad news is that you can't move the vents once the mount is installed. I don't see that as a problem. The black finish of the mounts looks great in the car and is durable due to its light weight. The side brackets hold the phone securely and once adjusted there is no need to move them to release the phone, just slide the phone up and out. My phone has a slim case that fits this mount perfectly. The charging port is free, so you can plug in the charging cable when the phone is in the holder. If you want to put your iPhone in a landscape position, this mount is not for you, it only supports portrait orientation. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction. Worried about your car phone holder falling off all the time? Chased your phone around the passenger seat? This car phone mount features two secure hooks on the end of the air vent clip. When driving through potholes, the phone mount securely attaches the entire car to the car vents, keeping your expensive phones in place even in the bumpiest road conditions. , your phone is not at risk of falling
Cons
  • No power
