Review on Thermo Tec 13575 Adhesive Aluminized Barrier by Phil Kuebler

We have a RZR and found it very hot inside in the summer with the windshield fully closed. We disassembled as best we could and wrapped all the aluminum radiator tubes from the radiator back to the engine. We have also fitted this heat shield to the underside of most interior fairings. We also got to the bottom and added a heat shield to the center lugs and cup holders. We took the RZR for a test ride and saw an immediate temperature drop and it was much quieter. Engine temp was 184 feet with heat gun, rear radiator hose was about 140 feet, heat gun showed 95 feet on the wrapped aluminum tubing inside the RZR when measured before the panels were reinstalled. We found the product very easy to use. . One reviewer said that the sticky side came off along with the peel-off backing, this never happened. We found that the easiest way to work with this was to cut strips about 5 x 8 inches, remove the backing, and reattach the foil backing since most of the packaging had to be done under the RZR. Very easy to apply, the adhesive was very strong. The interior panels are plastic, the glue stuck to them with no problem. Another reviewer said it was difficult to cut, another said wear gloves and goggles, we didn't find any of that. This is a great product and the most "we" in applying it to our RZR was me and I am a 66 year old female. So if I didn't have a problem, the guys shouldn't have either.
