Great stuff that really works

Great stuff, stuck it on the air intake of my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sports. The exhaust is located just below the intake manifold, which makes the air intake very hot, which I personally think is a silly design. I put that in there and now I can put my hand on the aluminum air intake without burning it and I drive another 12 miles on a full tank of gas (tested after 3 full tanks post mod). Hot air has less oxygen, causing the engine to run on richer fuel. I'm sure it improved performance and…

Excellent protection for the chimney.

My idea was far from being used in cars. My wood stove made my robe a little warmer than I would have liked and I didn't want the wood to crack. I bought two pieces. I tuck one in the middle where it's warmest, and I fold the other in half and put it on the sides, just fold it over the back. I was very impressed with how cold it stays and can't tell there's any real warmth on my mantel. It is not visible from the front. It was easy to install, just peel and stick. It gets slightly warm when…

It may have saved the lives of 4 baby bluebirds! .

It saved maybe 4 chicks' lives! We had a small family of bluebirds that were raised in a box in direct sunlight for most of the day. Temperatures have been so high this spring/summer that I feared the heat would kill the babies (earlier in the season we lost 3 babies, again due to extreme heat). We bought Thermo-Tec material and put it on the roof and sides of the box where the sun's rays hit. Although we didn't test the internal temperature, we know that this reduced the internal temperature…

Great product, amazing quality.

I wrapped this thing on the outside of the cold air intake heat shield, as well as the silicone throttle hose that goes next to the head, today at 103 degrees my intake temp is 5 degrees colder than usual. Sticks to anything and everything. Update: 6/25/17 I've ordered more, I've made a Lexan scoop that directs air into my intake system, it's behind the grille. The blade has a heatsink directly behind it and while the Lexan retains the heat radiated by the heatsink, it's definitely been getting

Glue won't hold even without heat

I have a homemade turbine I built and I had to run a drain pipe just under the AC box (square body truck) about 3/4 inch. Air gap taking into account the factory rubber muffler/silencer that OEM diesel trucks have fitted. .It wasn't greasy or anything but I then treated it with a degreaser. I then did a final clean with acetone and let it dry completely. Finally I applied this product to the underside to protect it from the heat of the turbo downpipe. At first I was very happy with how it…

Great product, easy to use, great glue.

We have a RZR and found it very hot inside in the summer with the windshield fully closed. We disassembled as best we could and wrapped all the aluminum radiator tubes from the radiator back to the engine. We have also fitted this heat shield to the underside of most interior fairings. We also got to the bottom and added a heat shield to the center lugs and cup holders. We took the RZR for a test ride and saw an immediate temperature drop and it was much quieter. Engine temp was 184 feet with…
