STAINLESS STEEL? - Radio antennas
Great fit and handling, no problems at 80mph with 4ft fiberglass antenna with quick connect over spring - But I doubt it's stainless steel or steel grade - I live and park my truck near 200 feet from the sea and this spring shows some white powder corrosion after about a week. My Firestik quick disconnect and bolt do not have this type of corrosion. Interestingly, the steel used in the spring is different. If I remember I'll post a photo.
