December 2017 Applies to a standard fiberglass shower enclosure. Flat, smooth fiberglass surface, thoroughly cleaned. The block fell off after 7 hours. Cleaned the fiberglass again, put it back on a few inches higher. Pull up 5 times every 10-20 minutes. After 3 hours, 1 suction cup came loose. After 10 hours the block fell off. I cleaned everything again. I soaked the suction cups in hot water. Repeated use with increased (maximum) pressure when turning the knobs. The next day (about 20 hours) the device fell off. The device attached to flat glass. Again a cup fell out after about 4 hours and the block fell off the next day. Conclusion: Design or manufacturer error. The suction cup rubber is too stiff to maintain sufficient adhesion.
